NHS Common User Interface

Welcome to the NHS Common User Interface (CUI) Programme

The primary aim of the Programme is to provide a health specific user interface, built on a solid infrastructure, for every medical practitioner across the NHS in England. This enables a common look and feel across the five regions of the NHS as prescribed within the NHS plan, and provides components for a common interface to those services provided by the LSPs and ISVs. Such a provision would deliver benefits in line with the strategy of the National Programme by providing:

	Increased patient safety
	Increased clinical take up of systems
	Increased clinician effectiveness and efficiency
	Reduced training and support costs
